Garlic What?? Yes, Enemas! Great & Gorgeous Garlic Enemas!

30 10 2015

Garlic in food is a great culinary herb as we all know, but it has some very good uses in Herbal Medicine.

Garlic Enemas are useful for the following conditions;  imgres

  1. To bring down a fever in either children or adults that is caused by a virus.  (It can be used for bacterial infections if the infection is also being treated orally with herbs or in extreme infections, antibiotics.)
  2. For men who have yeast/fungus in their prostate gland.  This is not diagnosed by any medical doctor, but I have treated men with this problem and it usually presents with either a Benign Prostatic Swelling (which is diagnosed by the doctor, but cause is not investigated.) with erectile problems, not able to empty their bladder completely or even dribbling after peeing etc.
  3. Parasite infections or high yeast/fungus in the gut.

Recipe:

Ingredients required:

A.  1 or 2 garlic cloves…if you have a very large head of garlic then use only 1.

B.  Clean glass jar that will hold up to 1 litre preferably.

C.  A “Fountain Syringe” bag which can be purchased at most larger Pharmacies.  If they don’t have that type of bag then you will need to buy the regular enema bag.  These are usually situated near the hot water bottles.

D. Kettle to boil water and a pure source of water…Ie. Filtered water, no chlorine.

E. Blender is best, but could just use a “garlic crusher”.

F. Funnel lined with cheese cloth unless the strainer has fairly small holes….if possible…if you don’t have one it will still work.

G. A thick towel or old camp mattress and pillow.

H. Olive oil or Castor oil.

Instructions:

Step 1: Figure how you can lay down a thick towel or old camp mattress and pillow for your head in the bathroom…as you need to be near the toilet!   Figure out how you will hang the bag on the shower rod or in some cases if you can fit into the bathtub, hang the enema bag from the shower head.  You can use a coat hanger and then attach the bag’s hook to it…just make sure it won’t fall down!

Step 2:  Take the 1 or 2 garlic cloves and place 1 litre of warm water in your blender.  Blend thoroughly so that the garlic is in very small pieces.  (Generally it is 1 regular sized garlic clove per 1 litre water, but if you can stand it stronger do 2 or 3, but it could cause some burning if you are not careful so start at the lower ratio first.)  To make “warm” water, boil some filtered water and then add it to water that YOU ALREADY PLACED in the 1 or 2 litre jar…check the water with your “pinky” finger and make sure it feels just above “luke-warmish” before you blend the garlic into it.  You do not want the water COLD so make sure it feels warm.  Note:  Have your funnel lined with cheese cloth ready and pour the solution from the blender into the 1 litre jar you will be using.

Step 3:  Pour the solution into the enema bag and grease the tip of the rectal piece with either olive oil or castor oil and get yourself into position on your RIGHT side.

Step 4: Get onto your RIGHT side and insert the tip and gently release the clamp holding the hose of the enema bag and start massaging with one hand toward your RIGHT side…yes the one you are laying on…as SOON AS you feel pressure close the clamp and hold the solution while still massaging.  If the PRESSURE sensation goes away, then allow more liquid to go into the colon and see if you can put the whole litre in….if you can’t because the pressure becomes to great…then clamp the hose, remove the rectal piece and jump on the toilet to release.  Repeat Step 4 until the litre of garlic solution is used up.

The key is to let the water come in slowly and massage over to the right side so you can hold it in as long as you can…up to 10 minutes if possible.

PLEASE NOTE: For children, you have to use a “bulb” syringe especially for younger kids but once they are 5 feet tall approximately you can start to use the regular enema bag.  For babies and toddlers the bulb syringe is good because only about 1/2 cup water to a cup goes in and then you can either put their diaper on or sit them on the toilet.  It is a very effective fever-reducing technique in viral infections.

A NOTE ABOUT MEN’S HEALTH:  The reason this works for Candida or Fungus in the prostate gland is because the prostate gland sits right behind the rectum and it is difficult to get remedies into the prostate because of its location, but herbal remedies can be absorbed through the bloodstream in the rectum and have direct effect on the prostate gland.

The garlic used is a good anti-fungal and will not kill off good bacteria in the gut like other herbs can.  But when used for this purpose you must make sure to retain it for as long as you can and hopefully at least 10 minutes and keep doing it WITH an oral program for yeast in the prostate gland.  (Oral programs usually contain Zinc along with herbs that are also anti-fungal, and you can use garlic orally, though for extreme cases other herbs are required.)

I will write more later. Love this blog. So good that you told of the garlic enema for fever reduction.

I am glad you mentioned for the toddlers to use the enema bulb syringe. And the older ones use the “regular enema bag.”

I will post more later when have time about the garlic enema and regular enema.

Again, thanks!
